Background + Mission

All of my session work, classes, workshops, and ceremonial offerings are the result of years of certified, dedicated study and practice.

After completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 with Mosaic Yoga I knew that it was only the beginning of my exploration as a teacher. I had an immense desire to go deeper, to tap into the mystic realms of the Yogic path. My commitment to the work of healing has led me to sit with (and learn from) various authentic scholars, healers, practitioners, and lineage based wisdom keepers.

My healing arts education background is diverse and fueled by my personal quest for holistic well being, creative embodiment, and self discovery. The path has allowed for me to receive direct teachings from pioneering elders in the women’s spirituality movement such as Vicki Noble. Also, initiated devotional study with yogini priestess Laura Amazzone, a year long apprenticeship with Active Culture Family, Reiki Master transmission from Hannah Salas of Open Apothecary, Trauma Informed Studies for Yoga Teachers with Hala Khouri, Yoga Nidra Healer Training with Katya Lovejoy, and Yin Teacher Training (30-hour Continuing Education) with Nikki Rae Bose of Reunify Yoga. In the recent years, I have explored mentorship & apprenticed deep study of the energetics of the subtle body system with Katie Dove.

What has emerged from these years of learning and practice is an embodied, organic chronicle of applied tools that I can share from the voice of my lived experience. I do not share anything that is not an integrated part of my life, body, and personal sādhanā.

The pursuit of women's studies, yoga, somatics, and integrated health has inspired me to travel to workshops, retreats, and personal development immersions in the USA, Mexico, and Europe. Most recently, I have been invited to guest teach local Yoga Teacher Trainings offering the teachings of Bhakti yoga, Trauma Informed yoga, ancestral reclamation and healing, graduation ceremony ritual, and more.

Intersectionality, access, and inclusivity are integral to the heart of my offerings. I intend to do my part to decolonize the wellness industry, and teach in a way that seeks to re-pattern us from the oppressive lens of capitalist society. It is incredibly important to me to ensure that sacred traditions are honored, respected, and not appropriated for my own commercial gain.

My work is available at a sliding scale to all people of color, the queer and trans communities, mothers, and immigrants. I center a trauma informed approach and informed consent within every space I curate.

I believe that as a community we can remember who we truly are, awaken the healer within, and begin to live our lives as the whole, precious beings we were born to be.
